I collaborated closely with one of our senior editors and motion designers from concept through final execution. Together, we developed the visual direction, pacing, and storytelling approach to balance intrigue with excitement. I guided the overall tone, creative design, and brand alignment, ensuring the final video delivered a cohesive message that felt polished, fresh, and aligned with Promethean’s evolving brand identity.

Originally, we weren’t planning to create a “coming soon” video for the new ActivPanel. Promethean wanted to keep product details confidential to avoid alerting competitors before launch. The plan was to unveil the ActivPanel 10 during an upcoming trade show.

Less than a month before the event, one of our main competitors released a new interactive display. That changed everything. We needed to act quickly to let our audience know that something innovative and exciting was on the horizon from Promethean. The challenge was to build anticipation and intrigue without revealing the product itself.

We shifted the message from a hardware-focused reveal to a teaser campaign centered around curiosity and emotion, introducing it simply as “The New Promethean Experience.”
